Peace Fm presenter Akwasi Aboagye has offered an apology to Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, the Ghanaian lady currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for longest singing marathon.
Aboagye, in a rant on his Peace Fm show before the sing-a-thon started, dragged Asantewaa for her continuous media tour promoting the upcoming even.
He said she should rest and concentrate on preparing for the sing-a-thon, even going so far as to complain about her not-so-sweet-sounding singing voice, which he suggested she should work on improving.

Aboagye’s rant triggered an angry response from Ghanaians who attacked him for being too negative.
After Asantewaa officially surpassed the time necessary to break the record, Aboagye took to social media to issue her an official apology.
