Superstar Rajinikanth made a massive comeback with ‘Jailer’ last year, which overthrew all existing box office records. It was an action entertainer directed by Nelson Dilipukumar with a huge star cast. Reports broke out recently that Thalaivar and Nelson are reuniting for the film’s sequel.
Sun Pictures who bankrolled the first film will be producing the second part as well. Now, the hot news is that actress Mirnaa has confirmed ‘Jailer 2’ in a recent interview. She played the daughter-in-law role of the titular role, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Mirnaa dropped some hints about the sequel and it is doing rounds on the internet.
Mirnaa said, “I spoke with Nelson sir about Jailer Part-2 and he told that the script work is going on. I was very happy and excited. I don’t know if I’m part of the movie. Because if he wants to extend the character, then I will be a part of it. It’s completely director’s freedom.” Rajinikanth is expected to start this film after the completion of ‘Vettaiyan’ and ‘Thalaivar 171’.
