Trina reportedly married husband Benjamin Kearse Jr. on May 22 in Miramar, Fl., according to several outlets who obtained court documents of their nuptials.
The Miami rapper reportedly broke the news to Jason Lee during his Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, as Kearse was said to be her date for the evening. While the southern spitter has yet to confirm recent reports, an interview with Carlos King published earlier this month found the beauty referring to him as her “husband.” She added of keeping their relationship private, “If you see it, oh well. I’m not hiding.” She also referred to their courtship as a “breath of fresh air.”
This followed Trina’s split from former fiancé, Raymond “Ray Almighty” Taylor, to whom she was engaged in 2021. At the time, the rapper proudly showed off her ring during a Instagram Live session with health influencer Stormy Wellington. Things eventually came to an end, however, leaving room for Trina and Ben’s love to blossom.

“The night we met was at a party. This amazing, handsome man walks in, and I look at Joy like, ‘Cousin, who’s that!?’ And Joy said, ‘I don’t know!’ I was not leaving that party without his number. Once I got the number, the rest is history.”

He’s slowly changing Trina’s mind about having children

The “B R Right” rapper has previously expressed doubts about having children. Following three miscarriages and the passing of her mother, the Miami MC was unsure if she ever wanted kids, according to her Q&A with Yung Miami on Caresha Please.
On Love & Hip Hop, however, she shared with her cousin that their relationship had her thinking of “white dresses and baby carriages…let’s talk about that, the ovaries…”
