Shares of Angel One Ltd ended at ₹2,285.00, up by ₹41.25, or 1.84% on the BSE.
Brokerage house Angel One Ltd on Monday (July 15) reported a 33% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at ₹293 crore for the first quarter that ended June 30, 2024.
In the corresponding quarter, Angel One posted a net profit of ₹221 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations jumped 74% to ₹1,406 crore as against ₹808 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 37% to ₹419 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal over ₹306 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA margin stood at 33.9% in the reporting quarter as compared to 39.6% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
Angel One added 2.6 million clients in Q1 of FY2025, a de-growth of 10.5% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. The client base stood at 24.7 million, a growth of 11.2% on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

Dinesh Thakkar, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “Growing client base to nearly 25 million, sustained healthy order run rate at over 460 million, high average daily turnover at nearly ₹44 trillion, expanding share in India’s demat accounts, NSE active client base and overall retail equity turnover reflects the
strength of our platform and its execution capabilities.”
The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Angel One Ltd ended at ₹2,285.00, up by ₹41.25, or 1.84% on the BSE.
