Handwritten Collection, the Accor Group’s mid-market brand, is celebrating its first anniversary with the prospect of adding further boutique hotels to its global collection in the near future.
Launched in January 2023, the brand aims to bring together small and medium-sized hotels that authentically reflect the personality of their owners. In just 12 months, Handwritten Collection has opened 12 carefully selected establishments.
Collection brands are currently growing at an annual rate of 25%, making them one of the fastest-growing segments in the hotel industry. In 2024 and beyond, Handwritten Collection plans to add nearly 25 new properties to its collection, while more than 150 projects are currently being evaluated.
