The Luxury Collection, a brand within Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, introduces Sanasaryan Han, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Istanbul, a newly opened retreat situated in the heart of Istanbul’s historic peninsula.
Originally built in 1895, Sanasaryan Han combines neo-classical architecture with Istanbul’s cultural heritage. Designed by Ottoman architect Hovsep Aznavur, the hotel is strategically located near landmarks such as the Spice and Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia.

Following a restoration, the hotel preserves its historical charm with curated artifacts and antiques. It boasts 63 guestrooms, including 6 suites and each room is designed with a neutral palette and marble accents. Furthermore, the bathrooms have drawn inspiration from Turkish hammam.
Sanasaryan Han celebrates Türkiye’s culinary traditions with Sini, a fine dining restaurant offering Mediterranean-inspired dishes. The Library Bar hosts cultural events, accompanied by cocktails and tea tastings led by the hotel’s Tea Master. The Book Meeting Room provides a versatile venue for business meetings and social gatherings.
