This past week has been one to forget for ZANU PF mascot, controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
When the year started, he was the star of social media, dishing out luxurious whips to musicians and Toyota Aquas to his church members, small-time influencers and relatively unknown ZANU PF supporters like Mai Welly, among others. A few months later, he is the main actor in a lewd and adulterous episode.
A yet-to-be-identified notorious character hacked the bulgy businessman’s Instagram account, and Zimbos had a field day. The hacker leaked Chivayo’s private messages with popular figures.
How Wicknell Chivayo Preyed On The Popular Women
Chivayo empathetically comforted singer Shashl after her shameful 2022 lula lula video with Levels leaked. With rapper Kikky Bada$$, Chivayo was friendly and flirty.
Chivayo’s eyes were also set on Anesu Chari, the wife of Prophet Evidence Chari. The hacker also dropped chats of the businessman with socialite Tariro Gezi and dancer Beverly Sibanda, among others.

The most intriguing of Chivayo’s chats was one with Prophet Edd Branson’s wife, Maxine Adams. It appears the two were in an adulterous relationship, as Maxine told Wicky, “I miss you…hant you don’t love me. Ndingaite sei,” to which the amorous Chivayo responded, “I love you too much.”
Chivayo even allegedly bought a Bentley for Branson’s wife, and the two secret lovers decided Chivayo should pass it to the Prophet, who would give his wife as a surprise. Nasty business.
After his chivalrous chats were leaked, Chivayo said they were cooked and fake but profusely apologised to Branson for what the “PROVOCATIVE and DEFAMATORY, yet UNTRUTHFUL messages may have caused.”
Earlier, Tariro Gezi, Beverly Sibanda and Thomas Chizhanje confirmed that their leaked chats with Chivayo were real, while his ex-wife Sonja Madzikanda celebrated that she had been “vindicated.”

Prophet Edd Branson Comments On Hints That Wicknell Chivayo Ate His Wife
The flamboyant church leader has spoken on the scandal involving his wife and Chivayo. He, however, appeared to bash people online for the wild jeers and howls aimed at him.
He posted a status, “Mati madii.” Then, earlier today, he spoke on US President Joe Biden dropping out of the race and subtly snuck the issue of Chivayo “chowing” his wife. He said he is a prophet and would have known if his wife cheated:
