EACH AND EVERY season, Love Is Blind serves up passionate romances, thrilling love triangles and painful breakups before finishing up with a wedding finale episode. That all, of course, comes before a reunion episode where the cast is brought back together to talk about what happened over the course of filming. However, the story doesn’t finish there, and one of fans’ favorite things about the Netflix series is the fact that the show will go back and film the couples and select singles from the cast for a three episode special called After the Altar.
And while viewers always look forward to After the Altar, there’s special interest in the remaining episodes this year, since Love is Blind Season 5 was so different from the rest of the seasons. There was a record number of breakups and people who left the experiment, just two couples held weddings, and only one couple actually got legally married.
The finale for Season 5 just aired, and we got some more information about what’s been going on with the cast since filming ceased a year and a half ago. Lydia and Milton are still together, Stacy and Izzy never got back together, and Chris and Johnie had a shocking breakup after he ghosted and then cheated on her.
Of course, there are still more episodes to come, so here’s what we know about Love Is Blind Season 5 After the Altar.

Will there be an After the Altar for Love Is Blind Season 5?
Since this season of Love Is Blind was completely unprecedented, there has been a little bit of concern about whether or not there will actually be an After the Altar for Season 5.
However, since Netflix hasn’t announced that there won’t be one, we can assume that they will still film and air it.
When will Love Is Blind Season 5 After the Altar premiere?
If the streamer decides to go forward with After the Altar, it’ll likely premiere between February and April, as previous After the Altar seasons have aired sometime between four to six months after the regular season.

Who will be on Love Is Blind Season 5 After the Altar?
Lydia and Milton got married this season, so they will pretty much definitely be on After the Altar.
The only other couple to somewhat make it down the aisle were Stacy and Izzy, so they’ll likely make an appearance as well. Taylor and JP got engaged, but since they broke up during the couples’ vacation in Mexico, it’s unknown if they’ll make an appearance, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they did. There are also other singles that could be on After the Altar, including Aaliyah, Johnny, and Chris, especially since they showed up for the reunion.
What will happen post-After the Altar?
Since this season of Love Is Blind was so messy—there’s even a yet-to-be resolved lawsuit happening—it’s unclear what will happen with Love Is Blind Season 6. The show has not been canceled though, so if a new season does happen, we should start expecting it around March of next year.
