Ottawa firefighters responded to a call reporting a fire on Old Richmond Road near Steeple Hill Crescent, Sunday afternoon.
Fire services received a 911 call at 4:27 p.m. reporting smoke and open flame in an oven vent in a single family home.

Firefighters responded quickly and were rapidly on the scene.
The fire was declared under control at 4:49 p.m.
An investigator was dispatched to determine the point of origin and cause of the fire.
