It’s official, footballing ace Jordan Pickford and his wife Megan have welcomed their second child together.
The loved up couple, who are already parents to a son named Arlo, shared their heartwarming announcement on Tuesday evening, as they took to social media to share a photo of the little one surrounded by pink balloons, flowers and an ‘oh baby’ sign.
Along with the first snap of the precious little one, who it was revealed was born on 23 September 2023, the couple also revealed the baby’s unique moniker as they revealed they had called their daughter Ostara Haze Pickford.

The dreamy new name means “Dawn”, and according to baby name directory Nameberry, stems from the Germanic goddess Ostara, who is the goddess of springtime, fertility, and dawn.
Interestingly, Ostara is also the modern German name for the Easter holiday, carrying with it a strong message of new life and youthful new beginnings.
Ostara’s middle name is also pleasantly unique, with “Haze” widely regarded as a unisex name derived from the parent name Hayes.

Following the birth announcement and the sharing of such a charming and original name, fans and famous faces alike raced to the comment section of the post to congratulate the new parents.
Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison commented: “Stunning. Congratulations babe.”
Jack Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood sweetly said: “can’t wait to meet her out angel girl xxxx.”
Love Island star Amber Gill said: “Omg congrats”, while pregnant Chelsea Healey gushed: “Congratulations so perfect.”
Jordan and Megan first announced their pregnancy news back in July, as they shared a snap of Megan’s blossoming baby bump with delighted fans.

Captioning the snap, the happy couple wrote: “Adding one more for us to adore. we can’t wait for you baby.”
The latest milestone in the couple’s enduring romance comes just three years on since they were married in a very low key ceremony in March 2020 after first finding love together as teenagers at St Robert of Newminster school in Washington, near Sunderland.
As the ceremony took place during the coronavirus pandemic, all the usual wedding splendour was stripped back to a far more casual occasion, with Jordan even donning a baseball cap, tracksuit and ripped jeans to say the words “I do.”
Thankfully, the couple were able to throw a follow-up lavish ceremony in the Maldives in July last year, with several heartwarming photos from the occasion soon shared online.
