The last ever episode of The Crown was officially released on Netflix earlier this week, and with the final season foussing heavily on the life and untimely death of Princess Diana, we can’t get enough of her low-key, preppy style, especially when it comes to her penchant for slogan sweatshirts.
The late Princess of Wales was known for frequently wearing oversized, slouchy sweatshirts when not attending official royal engagements, and most often paired them with a pair of cycle shorts, trainers and a baseball cap, creating the perfect relaxed vibe that’s still doing the rounds on Pinterest boards and outfit inspo videos today.

She wore the sweater her with signature uniform of bike shorts, trainers and sunglasses, with the look being one of her most popular – and recreated – outfits of all time.

Finally, another of Princess Diana’s best-loved sweatshirts was her Virgin Atlantic one that she wore in 1995 after it was gifted to her by Richard Branson, which has a navy background with a red and white Fly Atlantic slogan on the front.
You mgiht not be able to get an original version of the sweatshirt any more, but Amazon has come through with a perfect replica version, as the Vintage Fly Virgin Atlantic Sweatshirt, £29.99 here, has an identical motif on the front and the same oversized, relaxed fit that Diana’s had.
