Valentine’s Day might be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still obsessed with all things cute and romantically-themed. That’s why when we spotted Lottie London’s latest product launch, we couldn’t get enough of its unique heart-shaped packaging.
The new Lottie London Twisted Heart Lip Tint and Clear Gloss Duo, £6.95 here, comes in a unique double-ended tube in a heart-shaped design and can be flipped and twisted around to create not only a regular straight stick but also doubles up as a fidget spinner to help keep anxious hands busy. At one end is a clear gloss, whilst the other end has a deep pinky-red tint, and TikTok is all saying the same thing – it’s the perfect dupe for Benefit’s Benetint Cheek and Lip Stain, £21.50 here.

In one TikTok video, user michaelamakeup92 said “Dupe alert” as she shared two swatches on the back of her hand, one being Lottie London’s Twisted Heart Lip Tint and Clear Gloss Duo, £6.95 here, and the other being the cult favourite Benetint. In the video the shades look almost identical, with Michaela adding that the Lottie London version is actually slightly thicker and less runny, too, which makes it easier to apply.
Another TikToker, Bellagerard, shared a video where she tried out the Lottie London Lip Tint and showed how pigmented the colour is, using only a couple of small dabs on her lips and blending it in with her fingers before applying the clear gloss over the top. In the video, Bella also holds up a bottle of the Benetint and says “I kinda feel like these are the same”.

Just like Benetint, the tinted side of Lottie London’s duo can be used on your cheeks as well as your lips, with the deep rose shade making a perfect alternative to liquid blusher. The gloss side is also infused with hyaluronic acid and argan oil to help hydrate your lips and leave them looking plumper and fuller, creating the perfect kissable pout.
