An 87-year-old woman from Odessa is facing a careless driving charge after a vehicle collided with another vehicle and a building in Napanee on Tuesday.
The crash occurred when a driver who was backing into a parking spot accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes, the OPP said in a news release.

Officers from the Lennox and Addington County detachment were called, shortly after noon, to the scene on Dundas Street, which was closed between John Street and Centre Street while emergency crews worked at the location.
No injuries were reported.
