A woman in her 20s who fell into a ravine Monday afternoon was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition, an Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said.
Ottawa Fire Services said in a news release it responded at 1:54 p.m. to a paramedic call for rescue assistance after a patient had fallen down a rocky ledge. It said it arrived at the scene, on Pepin Court near Innes Road, to find the woman about 7.5 metres down the embankment.
A rope rescue team brought the patient out of the ravine by 2:46 p.m.
