Dedicated to children’s education, she previously served as a biology and chemistry teacher at Lakeview High School in Lakeview, Michigan, for 30 years, retiring in 2012 to help her late father with the farm. During her tenure at the high school, Ms. Muessman also served as the athletic director and principal.
