Manila, Philippines: Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro suspended the operations of the BFCT Terminal in Barangay Calumpang after a truck, reportedly transporting fireworks, exploded on Sunday, killing two people and injuring five others.
Marikina said the terminal’s operations had been suspended since Sunday evening, pending investigation.
Teodoro said they wanted to determine if the terminal was at fault for allowing the contraband.
