A BEAUTY fan has shared their inexpensive routine for hair growth.
One hair trick that aims to improve blood circulation involves a bit of hanging upside down.

Redditor ObliterateMe shared the beauty tips and tricks in a post.
They explained that their “cheap-o route” aims to keep hair healthy and happy.
The first step is a solid diet with plenty of protein and fatty acids.
To take things up a notch, they recommended daily biotin supplements.
They also encouraged those looking to grow their hair fast to develop haircare habits, like scalp oiling.
“Before every shower, get some oil. I use coconut, but I’ve heard good things about peppermint oil making your scalp tingle, always a good sign, and massage it into your scalp,” they said.
For best results, they often did their oiling routine upside down to stimulate blood flow in the scalp.
“If possible, lay on your bed and do it upside down,” they added.

Another treatment option is to use a conditioning protein-rich mask once a week.
“It can be a [mask] you already like to use or just your oil, but the oil can really weigh down your hair if you don’t wash afterward,” they said,

“A good tip is to heat up the [mask] under a cap under a hair dryer.”
Steps can also be taken to protect your strands on a daily basis.
“Protect your hair. If it’s long enough or when it gets to this point. French braid or regular braid it when you sleep, or put it in a high bun with a silk scrunchie,” they said.
“Wear your hair up often. Or, sleep with a silk cap, although I don’t have any personal experience with that.”

Their go-to hair philosophy reminds them to be as gentle with their locks as possible to prevent unnecessary damage.
“A good rule of thumb is to treat your hair like fragile silk to improve its strength and durability later in its life,” they said.
