Nita Ambani, the wife of Mukesh Ambani, is regarded as one of the world’s most renowned socialites, philanthropists and a valued part of the close-knit billionaire family. But not many people are aware of Nita Ambani’s life story before marriage to the wealthiest man in Asia.
After Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani were married in 1985, the couple had three children: twins Akash and Isha Ambani, and a younger son named Anant Ambani. The family led a rich lifestyle. However, Nita Ambani’s life was not always opulent, though.
Following are more details of Nita Ambani’s life story before marriage to Mukesh Ambani:
Nita Dalal belonged to a middle class household before she married Mukesh Ambani. Ravindrabhai Dalal, the father of Nita Dalal Ambani, was formerly part of a top management at the Aditya Birla Group, which is currently led by Kumar Mangalam Birla.
At the age of six, Nita Ambani began training in Bharatanatyam classical dancing, a hobby she pursued until she was twenty years old. She soon began her professional dance career and began making a living as a dance instructor in a small school.
Nita Ambani was a dance instructor at a Mumbai school before to her marriage to Mukesh Ambani. In the past, she had performed at several events as a skilled classical dancer. Her father-in-law, Dhirubhai Ambani, met her during one of her dance performances.
Nita Ambani had one wish after marrying Mukesh Ambani, which was that she be allowed to continue working after their marriage. The Ambanis obligingly granted her wish. Nita Ambani disclosed her income in a Simi Garewal interview, according to DNA.
Nita Ambani said that she kept up her employment as a teacher at St Flower Nursery even after getting married. She further disclosed that, although marrying into a family of millionaires, she was being paid ₹800 a month at the time to maintain her professional abilities.
