Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales have employed many people to ensure the smooth running of their busy schedules – but exactly how many staff the future King and Queen actually have has been revealed by the monarchy’s annual Sovereign Grant Report. The report has revealed that the couple’s own arm of the Royal Family, at Kensington Palace, has 50 different members of staff.

The report, which was released earlier this week, also revealed the gender balance between Kate and William’s staff.
Although their roles were not detailed, the gender balance is 64 percent for females and 36 percent for males.
The report also detailed that 16.3 percent of their staff comes from an ethnic minority background.
This showed an increase from last year’s, which stood at 13.6 percent.
Although it didn’t state roles, it is believed that this would include housekeepers, nannies and gardeners.
It seems likely that the report would include these members of staff, although they would not live on site at Adelaide Cottage.
The couple moved into the four-bedroom home last year, and due to the limited bedrooms, those in such roles do not live with them.
The royal couple, who have three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, require secretaries, security and press officers.
The Princess of Wales also has a stylist and a hair stylist, one of whom travels with her on a regular basis.
The couple are known for being hands-on parents to nine-year-old Prince George, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte and five-year-old Prince Louis.
Despite having nannies, the couple try to work their schedules to fit around school hours.
According to HELLO’s royal reporter Emily Nash, the couple “time their engagements to allow them to take their children to school and to put them to bed, even on tours”.
The couple are also known to pause their schedules during George, Charlotte and Louis’s school holidays, ensuring they get some quality family time.
