I just want to say THANK YOU to our friends from South Detroit that came out to cheer on the runners participating in the 2023 Detroit Free Press Marathon on Oct. 15.
I am 61 years old and have Parkinson’s disease. I was determined to finish this run and I did, as tough as it was.

Those cheering me on in Windsor made me feel very special and I cannot tell you how much it touched me.
