Decorated NRL legend Boyd Cordner was the first of the big names to exit the show after a painful injury forced SAS Chief Medic Dr Dan to stop him from continuing on the show.
The former Australian captain was left devastated when he tore his pectoral muscle during the Run and Jump Extraction challenge, which forced the doctor to make the difficult call.
“Be clear, this is me medically withdrawing you from the course,” Dr Dan said.

SAS Chief Instructor Ant Middleton echoed the sentiments, saying: “I know you wanted to crack on and you wanted to get through”.
“But if you carry on, especially the next couple of days, sheer pride is going to really, really injure you and potentially rip the rest of that [muscle] off,” he added.
“Your character is impeccable. You’re an honourable person.”
Just minutes after Ant said goodbye to Boyd and left the medical room, he was confronted by another celebrity who wanted out.
Lindy Klim, businesswoman and former wife of Olympian Michael Klim, told the SAS boss that she was leaving the course.
Earlier in the show, she’d made no secret of the fact that she was struggling with the harsh conditions of living at SAS Base Camp.
“I’m part of the Bali royal family,” she said.
“I have no idea what I’m doing here. I’m a complete fish out of water.
“I can’t go to sleep without a podcast, then whale sounds, then a machine that purifies the air. An eye mask.”

After she left, she told producers: “I did think I would struggle being so far out of my comfort zone. I hate being dirty, I hate sand and I hate camping. I feel quite chuffed that I managed to get through two days.”
In the following scenes, Cassie Sainsbury also withdrew from the course after refusing to take part in the underground pipeline challenge.
The convicted drug trafficker had earlier spoken of her fears of being in the tight, claustrophobic space, given her experiences in a Colombian jail.
When she said she couldn’t continue, SAS Chief Inspector Ant told her that she was “officially off the course”.
But he then commended a teary Sainsbury for her attempt to tackle her fears and told her she needed to stop “living in the past”.

“You don’t belong there, listen to me,” he said.
“You do not belong there. All this ‘Cocaine Cassie’ bulls***, it’s not you.
“Take what you can from this experience, use it to your advantage. Well done.”

Sainsbury later told producers: “It’s probably one of the first times in a long time that I’ve felt proud of myself in the sense of facing everything I didn’t want to see again.”
“When I leave the SAS course, ‘Cocaine Cassie’ dies there,” she added.
“That’s it. She doesn’t follow me around anymore.
“I’m just Cassie. But I’m the Cassie that’s been through a lot, I’ve come out the other side stronger and with a lot of resilience.
“And I just hope to be able to prove to everyone wrong.”
