A snap poll has revealed who viewers thought came out on top in the latest TV battle.

Audience member brands Starmer a ‘political robot’
Sir Keir Starmer beat Rishi Sunak in tonight’s General Election TV showdown, according to a snap poll.
The YouGov survey after the Sky News Battle For No 10 programme found 64 percent of respondents thought the Labour leader was stronger.
Meanwhile, some 36 percent thought the Prime Minister won the night in the poll of 1,864 people.
The leaders departed from the usual head-to-head debate format and faced separate grillings with Sky News’s Beth Rigby.

Mr Sunak and Sir Keir also took questions from the audience of the event in Grimsby Town Hall.
The Labour leader went first and was asked about topics including his U-turns and previous backing for Jeremy Corbyn.
He seemed briefly stumped after an audience member suggested he had become a “political robot” and asked how he would convince people to vote for him.
Asked whether Sir Keir had convinced him, the audience member said: “You don’t seem to answer the question.”
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister was asked about his five pledges from 2023, tax and immigration but faced heckling from the audience during the bruising show.
Responding to the snap poll, Cabinet minister Mark Spencer said: “That’s not how I would call it but if that is the poll, that is the poll.
“What matters is those floating voters in the middle and how they view that and I think people will have seen Keir Starmer’s not answering the question.”
Home Secretary James Cleverly added that Mr Sunak put in a “solid performance” and had given “clear answers”.
