After weeks of trying to shoehorn the genie back into the bottle, Prudence Sekgodiso has no choice but to finally show her hand with regards to her medal contention for the Olympics at Thursday’s Diamond League meeting in Oslo, Norway.
Having opened her season with a personal best of one minute, 58.05 seconds in the 800m at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria in March, Sekgodiso suddenly found herself faced with the age-old problem South African athletes have had to endure for years.
