In 2023, HBO Max and Discovery+ combined to form Max. As a result, the new releases on Max are more varied than ever, with HBO and Max originals launching alongside popular reality TV shows from ID, TLC, Magnolia Channel, Travel Channel, and HGTV.
In April, Max subscribers can look forward to The Sympathizer, which is a limited series starring Hoa Xuande as a North Vietnam plant in the South Vietnam army who then flees to the US and Robert Downey Jr. in multiple villainous roles. Other highlights include Conan O’Brien Must Go, The Jinx – Part Two, and the Oscar winner The Zone of Interest.
