He met Andre Agassi in Melbourne, who shared a few pictures from their meetup and praised the Wimbledon champ. The Spaniard, who was elated at the support, showcased his respect for Agassi.

As the young star and the veteran legend met, they also had great banter where Agassi even trolled himself as he tried to put himself in the shoes of the 20-year-old.

The Spaniard is in Melbourne right now as he aims to win the big title. While Alcaraz was hoping to revive his title-winning days, he met Andre Agassi, who looked to fire him up. Their meetup was filled with laughter, and the two had a great conversation. Agassi also shared many pictures of it on his social media.
The first picture showed both of them hugging, while the other two pictures showed the two laughing, and talking. Along with the pictures, Agassi wrote the caption, “What a joy to meet this champion. 🏆”. Alcaraz, who was quite happy with the praise, commented, “Big admiration for you, pleasure to meet you.”

During their meetup, Agassi also checked out Alcaraz’s racket and was surprised as he noted one particular aspect of it. As he talked about it, he also trolled himself as he imagined himself playing with that racket.

Andre Agassi trolls himself as he checks Alcaraz’s racket
During their Melbourne meetup, cameras captured Agassi and Alcaraz with big smiles as they engaged in a candid talk. Agassi was holding Alcaraz’s racket and examining the string tension. While the string tension on Alcaraz’s racket has been tailored to his preferences and the needs of the modern game, Agassi found it perplexing.

Agassi then pictured himself playing with the racket and stated, “If I hit with this, it goes..” He then made a gesture implying that the ball would fly all over the place if he used Alcaraz’s trusted weapon. The Spaniard still believed that Agassi would be able to play with it without any issues. But the American believed otherwise and wished Alcaraz a great Australian Open.
