Piers Morgan has offered to pay for Tottenham to have an open-top bus parade if they beat Man City and finish fourth – he’ll even wear a Spurs shirt!
The die-hard Arsenal fan was in a typically buoyant mood after seeing a 3-2 victory over their rivals on Sunday.

That result means that despite Man City’s victory over Nottingham Forest, the Gunners remain top of the Premier League table with a one-point advantage over City.
But with Pep Guardiola’s side facing Tottenham in that game in hand, Morgan finds himself in the unusual position where he’ll actually be backing the Whites.
Discussing the title race on The Sports Breakfast, Morgan said: “We’re in great shape. Arsenal, in 2024, are absolutely on fire. If you take out the Villa game we have been unbeatable.
“The only team that can stop us is Man City and I do not believe that they’re going to win their four remaining games.
“I think that Tottenham will do something at their ground which will ruin every Tottenham fan’s life, but it’ll help us to win the league.”
Spurs are set to travel to the Etihad Stadium on May 14th in a match which will be their penultimate game of the season.
While victory over Pep Guardiola’s side would undoubtedly aid Arsenal’s title charge, Morgan offered quite an incentive if Tottenham do manage to finish fourth.
“Here’s what I’d say to Tottenham fans: You’re never going to win the league – you’ve never won the league in my lifetime, it’s never going to happen.
