Manchester City will close to within a point of Premier League leaders Liverpool if they beat Bournemouth on Saturday.

However, it was another home performance, following the 2-0 victory against Everton, where the European champions were short of their fluent best.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are expected to play on the front foot and look to exploit any flaws in City’s current makeup, although they were dispatched 6-1 in the reverse fixture in November.
Guardiola handed starts to Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes in the City midfield, while Jack Grealish returned from a groin injury to take a place on the bench.
