All eyes are on Caitlin Clark as she begins her WNBA career with the Indiana Fever.
The Fever selected Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, setting the stage for one of the most highly anticipated rookie seasons in league history. Clark is coming off a senior campaign in which she broke the NCAA’s all-time scoring record and led the Hawkeyes to the national championship game, captivating millions of basketball fans across the country.

She will find herself in a much different position this summer, as the Fever finished with the third-worst record in the WNBA last season (13-27). The challenge for Clark will be adjusting to the pro level and helping Indiana climb up the standings.
Even accounting for a bit of a learning curve, the 22-year-old should not only provide an on-court boost for the team, but also throw the Fever into the national spotlight. Clark will undoubtedly increase team ticket and merchandise sales.
