With the star taking part in Justin Timberlake’s 8AM invitational golf tournament a couple of years ago, fans had expected him to return with Pat McAfee this year too. However, it looks like the 34-year-old ended up being stuck with other appointments and had to sit this one out.

Although Kelce could not make it to the eighteen holes this year, the tight end did not seem to forget about Timberlake’s friendly game and even called out Jimmy Fallon for a mishap he had caused a year ago.

In a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce and Andrew Santino discussed the athlete’s love for golf. Although it might have begun with the 34-year-old shouting out Justin Timberlake’s golf tournament, the conversation soon pivoted to the ongoings of this year’s invitational tournament. After the comedian mentioned that Jimmy Fallon had thrown a flag and drone into the lake, the tight end disclosed that he had a mischievous story of his own about the host.

Kelce ended calling out the late-night host on his behavior and stated, “You know, that’s my lake, right? Lake Travis. Dude, that’s where he threw my putter,” the athlete continued. The tight end finished his brief story by adding, “God damn it, Jimmy, control yourself.”

While Fallon might have been the one that proved to be out of control at the Las Vegas resort, pictures that made their way online proved that the tournament had been a notable success. However, it looks like the late-night host might not be the only hyper one in the trio of him, Kelce and Timberlake.

After all, the NFL star made headlines when the former NSYNC pop star shared that the Kansas City Chiefs star knocked him down.

When Justin Timberlake forgot about his size difference with Travis

Over the years, Justin Timberlake and Travis Kelce managed to build quite a connection with each other. While they have only gotten closer to the singer’s 8AM golf tournament, there seemed to be a few moments where the pop singer could have ended up being hurt. In a conversation with his golfing partner, Jimmy Fallon, the 43-year-old, revealed that the NFL star once forgot his strength.

While Timberlake had the finest time with the group, he stated that Kelce “went up and did one of those, you know, when they jump. And I was like, ‘He’s doing it. I have to do it.’ And I forgot that he weighs like 80 lbs. More than me.” Although nothing happened to the star, he recalled, “I saw my life flash before my eyes.”

Although Kelce may have unknowingly tackled Timberlake, it does not seem to have affected their friendship. In fact, it only seemed to add an air of fun to their friendship. While fans have not gotten a chance to see the stars together in a while, the NFL star could make his way to Las Vegas for another tournament later in the year.
