On December 19, Travis took to Instagram and posted a video in which he saw his pet dog sitting in his lap as he roamed around in his wheelchair. The QB has been in recovery for quite a long time now and the fans can only hope that this video is nothing but a good sign.

When he was injured, he took to X to thank the support of his fans in this difficult time. He wrote, “I truly cannot thank everyone enough for the many thoughts, prayers and messages that have been sent my way. I have been overwhelmed by the support from my teammates, coaches, the Florida State community, and those all around the world. Although the injury marks the end of my Seminole playing career, the great memories created here at FSU will never fade.” Travis is a pivotal part of the FSU squad, but unfortunately, his career had to be cut short due to this injury, and with all the updates that he shares on Instagram, it is evident that he is going through a rough time as he continues to struggle. But with all that said, Travis’ injury became a part of a heated discussion when the CFP snubbed FSU out of the top 4 spots.

When the CFP was pressured for a justification on their end, the committee cited the season-ending injury to Florida State QB Jordan Travis as the reason why they couldn’t make the top 4 spots.

CFP selection committee chair Boo Corrigan said, “Florida State is a different team without Jordan Travis. One of the things we do consider is player availability, and our job is to rank the best teams, and in the final decision looking at that, it was Alabama at 4 and Florida State at 5.” In response to the snub, Mike Norvell released a harsh statement on the CFP’s decision. He said, “I am disgusted and infuriated with the committee’s decision today to have what was earned on the field taken away because a small group of people decided they knew better than the results of the game.” But in good news, it seems as if the quarterback is definitely getting better and hopefully gets better soon as he has a lot left to give back to the game.
