Who will replace Keira Walsh?
England fans held their breath as midfield maestro Keira Walsh left the pitch on a stretcher in the Lionesses’ 1-0 win over Denmark.
She does, however, miss the match with China.

Speaking about playing without Walsh, striker-come-left-back Rachel Daly said: “It’s obviously difficult losing a player of her ability and the quality that she brings, and like I said off the pitch she’s a vital part of the team as well so it’s tough.
“[We have] a 23-player squad that can all be capable of stepping up in these moments. And we know that as a team, the players believe in that. The staff believe in that. And I hope that everybody else on the outside believes that. And yes, it’s sad to see someone not be able to play, but it’s a fantastic opportunity for somebody else to step up.”
Manchester City’s Laura Coombs was the player who replaced Walsh after she suffered her injury during the Denmark match.
‘We are no easy piece of cake’
With Denmark playing winless Haiti, China know they are likely to need a win to stand any chance of progressing.
Discussing the prospect of facing England before the tournament, China’s manager, Shui Qingxia, told CGTN: “They are definitely strong opponents, but that doesn’t mean we must give up our own advantage.
“I want to take this opportunity to find out our advantages over the European teams. I don’t think they will see us as an easy competitor. We are no easy piece of cake.”
