Jan Frodeno won the race, but perhaps an even bigger surprise was Jason West. The American athlete set the fastest run time at the PTO US Open, overtaking Kristian Blummenfelt in the closing stages and running to a phenomenal second place finish. West himself is brief about it. “Never give up.”
