Paper Rex vs LOUD Preview and Predictions – VCT 2024 Masters Madrid

The Lower Round 1 Paper Rex vs LOUD matchup will eliminate one of these teams from the Madrid playoffs.

After losing their first playoffs matches, Paper Rex and LOUD are going head to head to start their lower bracket run.

We saw these two fight only once before at Champions 2023, where the Singaporeans enjoyed a 2-1 victory, with former Duelist Wang “Jinggg” Jie dominating the series.

Paper Rex

PRX looked far from perfect in their last match against Pacific winner Gen.G, losing both initial maps as we saw a lack of fundamental plays from the side of the Singaporeans.

It’s obvious that the absence of Jinggg has brought some role issues as f0rsakeN had to quickly adapt to playing Raze on Split. Without a full gear shift, securing even a single map versus LOUD would be near impossible.

LOUD

Although the Brazilians lost their playoffs series versus Sentinels, they still appear strong with very strong compositions and strategies on Icebox and Sunset. On top of it, their fundamentals are spot on.

LOUD look much stronger than PRX so far at this event, but the unpredictable and explosive playstyle of the APAC players can pose a challenge.
