That catch can’t make Aiyuk’s Pro Bowl case, of course, so let’s dig into that part of things. The former first-round pick turned 105 targets into 75 receptions for 1,342 yards (seventh) and seven touchdowns (tied for 18th). An absurd 61 of his 75 catches resulted in first downs, and his average reception spanned a career-high 17.9 yards.

Saying that, though, it might be even harder to build a credible case for why St. Brown wasn’t selected, since he was named as an All-Pro first-teamer.
He was top five in most relevant receiving categories, including catches (119, tied for second), yards (1,515, third) and touchdowns (10, tied for fourth). He also produced a league-leading nine contests with 100-plus receiving yards.
