MASH Ramu is a woman from Soweto, whose passion lies in the wine business.
The podcaster, storyteller, and businesswoman is eager to engage in meaningful conversations with guests who share her enthusiasm at this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July.
The eagerly awaited event takes place at Greyville Racecourse in Durban on Saturday, 6 July.
Mash is the creator of a wine accessories company, Four One Wine.
She explained that her brand caters to urban individuals who enjoy hosting events, family gatherings, girls’ nights, and engaging in conversations over a glass of wine.
She recounted how it all began during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“After the lockdown regulations were relaxed, and alcohol was available again, my family would host gatherings where there would be social and deep conversations over a bottle of wine. That’s when the idea of starting the wine accessories started,” Mash said.

The 32-year-old is also founder of the podcast Vino In The City, where she invites celebrities from various fields to discuss diverse topics while sipping wine.
“The podcast is not only about wine. We discuss social matters such as politics, family, relationships, and many other issues. We do this over a glass of wine. I host public figures and we discuss subjects around challenges, personal experiences, and other stuff. The podcast allows meaningful conversations,” she said.
She also revealed that she has developed a wine app called Pale that allows wine lovers access wines and cocktails recommendation that complement their tastes using Artificial Intelligence.
Her biggest wish is to integrate technology into her winery brand.
“This would allow premium beverage owners to engage or interact with clients and customers in a profitable way.”
