Triple H suggests a new dawn has emerged with Dwayne Johnson’s incorporation into TKO
Taking to Instagram, Triple H shared the news of Dwayne Johnson being inducted as one of the Board of Directors at the TKO Group. In the caption, he wrote, “A monumental day at @nyse with @therock and @tkogrp. There’s so much to be excited about, and even more to look forward to. The game has officially been changed.”

It was announced earlier on January 23, 2024, that The Brahma Bull will be a part of WWE’s parent company, the TKO Group. Apart from being on the board, The Brahma Bull will also be in a long-term licensing and promotional agreement with the company.

Johnson has also secured the rights for his in-ring name “The Rock” which was previously WWE’s intellectual property.
While Triple H had some heartfelt words for Johnson, the Hollywood icon shared his feelings about the honor.

The Rock glad to carry forward the torch of his family legacy
In an interview with CNBC, Johnson was present with the CEO of the TKO Group Ari Emanuel. In the conversation, the former WWE Champion talked about how his father and grandfather were a part of WWE. However, he stated that none of them would have predicted that someday Johnson would have received such a high honor. The Anoa’i Family is known to be a pioneer in pro wrestling. Many regard them as respectable contributors to the sport.

As per the reports, Johnson has taken up the responsibilities immediately from January 23, 2024. The news came in days after Johnson received another honor. It was announced that the Hollywood icon will be inducted into the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame class of 2024. The honor is usually given to people of Polynesian descent who have made significant contributions to the game of football.
