Signing a strategic cooperation memorandum, China Eastern Airlines Logistics and SHEIN aim to enhance collaboration by expanding flight routes, increasing charter services, and strengthening logistics in South China and overseas markets. The goal is to boost strategic and operational synergy, improving cross-border fulfillment capabilities and logistics efficiency. This partnership seeks to provide professional cross-border logistics support for high-quality Chinese products and brands entering international markets, ultimately enhancing the global consumer experience.
In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has experienced rapid growth, becoming a vital form of foreign trade that drives domestic cargo export growth. China Eastern Airlines Logistics has increased its business investment and collaborated with platforms like SHEIN, resulting in a yearly increase in cross-border e-commerce operational volume. Presently, China Eastern Airlines Logistics’ subsidiary, China Cargo Airlines, operates 14 B777 freighters, servicing international freight hubs such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, New York, and Los Angeles from Shanghai and Shenzhen. Additionally, they offer belly cargo freight services on nearly 800 passenger aircraft of China Eastern Airlines, providing comprehensive cross-border e-commerce logistics services to platforms and enterprises. SHEIN currently serves consumers in over 150 countries and regions worldwide.
Leveraging mature supply resources in the Pearl River Delta and Greater Bay Area, combined with SHEIN’s innovative flexible on-demand supply chain model, they expanded their platform strategy in 2023 to assist more brands and merchants in exploring global markets through a “self-owned brand + platform” dual-engine development approach.
With the robust growth of cross-border e-commerce, SHEIN aims to enhance its service and support capabilities for cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
