HONOR has officially brought the highly anticipated HONOR 200 series smartphone to Malaysia. For the first time in Malaysia, the company is introducing the Pro model of the number series, which boasts flagship hardware specifications and cameras at an excellent value.
Both the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro look very similar in terms of design with slight differences in screen size, the HONOR 200 has a 6.7-inch and the HONOR 200 Pro has a slightly larger 6.78-inch screen, but both phones sport quad-curved super bright AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM Dimming Frequency.
The HONOR 200 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro is powered by a more beefy Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, both phones have 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, a 5200mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, while only the HONOR 200 Pro has 66W fast wireless charging.
What HONOR really wants to highlight about the series is their portrait photography capabilities, which the company has collaborated with Studio Harcourt in Paris to develop three exclusive portrait filters that aims to make subjects stand out, the phones’ camera hardware is also pretty impressive, as the HONOR 200 Pro employs the Honor Magic 6 Pro’s 50MP Dynamic Falcon H9000 camera as its main sensor, while complemented by a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto and 12MP ultrawide camera, the HONOR 200 has the same resolution for all of its triple cameras, but the main camera uses a smaller 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor.
The HONOR 200 series can be preordered today till 27th June 2024, 3PM with just a RM20 deposit, you get up to RM1078 worth of freebies and a RM200 instant cash rebate on the phones, the HONOR 200 starts at RM1,899 for the 12GB+256GB model and RM2,199 for the 12GB+512GB model, while the HONOR 200 Pro is only available in a single 12GB+512GB variant for RM2,699.
