On September 11, NIO officially announced that the intelligent electric coupe SUV – NIO’s brand new EC6 will be launched online on September 15 at 8 p.m. (Beijing time).
The dimensions of the new car are 4849/1995/1697 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively. The wheelbase is 2915 millimeters. It is equipped with tires of specifications 265/45R21 and 255/50R20. The maximum speed is 200 km/h.
In terms of power, the new NIO EC6 electric model has motor types YS150S001 / TZ210S001, with each motor having a power output of 150/210kW.

Several automotive bloggers have already exposed the spy photos of the all-new EC6. From the exterior, the new car maintains a consistent fastback-style SUV posture with its predecessor, resembling the body contour of their own ET5 sedan.
Compared to NIO EC7, the all-new EC6 appears more compact and sporty, with a lower body stance. As for NIO‘s iconic strip-shaped daytime running lights, elongated taillights that run across the rear end, and three “corners” formed by roof-mounted laser radar and camera systems, none of them are missing.
The interior of the new car has not been announced yet, but it is expected to have a similar layout as other models developed based on the NT2.0 platform. It is anticipated that the overall cabin layout will be consistent with the all-new ES6.
