OnePlus has just announced that it will launch not one, but two, new mid-range Android smartphones during its next major product event. The launch may also introduce some potentially affordable TWS earbuds of a similar name. However, the Nord 3’s multiple companions seem destined to become available in just one major market.
OnePlus India has just updated its website with a launch page containing 3 intriguing tabs: one of which is for a “New Nord #2” as well as the previously confirmed “New Nord #1“. Accordingly, the unexpected second smartphone might prove to be a successor to the CE 2, now slated for a simultaneous launch alongside that for the Nord 2.
Both upcoming smartphones are also now teased alongside the Nord Buds 2r, which, by the sound of it, seem like more wallet-friendly versions of OnePlus’ latest sub-flagship TWS earbuds. The brand has shared little about the accessories thus far, save to reveal that they look like new rounded versions of their flagship siblings in new Triple Blue or Deep Gray colorways.
Similarly, there is little enough under the “Nord CE 3’s” tab thus far, although the Nord 3 is now more extensively (if perhaps predictably) hyped as having a flat display and an Alert Slider. Then again, it seems the second new Nord smartphone and earbuds are exclusive to the Indian market, as OnePlus Europe still just previews a single device (“the new Nord“, ostensibly the flagship 3) at the time of writing.
