Xiaomi has introduced the Pad 6 to the Malaysian market today, succeeding the Pad 5 that was released two years ago, this budget flagship tablet continues to come with attractive hardware features at an irresistible value.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 sports an improved design from its predecessor, where it now comes with a more premium aluminum back, rounded edges for better handling and slimmer display bezels, the tablet weighs lighter than its predecessor at 490g.
Powered by a faster Snapdragon 870 processor, the Xiaomi Pad 6 comes in storage variants of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, it features an 11-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that pushes a higher resolution of 2880×1800 pixels, and refreshes at 144Hz, the display supports Dolby Vision HDR and complementing the visual experience is a quad-speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is equipped with a rear 13-megapixel camera and front 8-megapixel camera, users can connect the tablet to an external monitor with its USB-C 3.2 port for presentations and consuming content on a bigger display, it comes with a large 8840mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging.
Available in color options of Gravity Gray, Gold and Mist Blue, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will start at RM1,299 for the 6GB+128GB storage variant, an online exclusive 8GB+128GB storage variant retails for RM1,399, and decked out 8GB+256GB storage variant retails for RM1,499.
Like the Pad 5, the Xiaomi Pad 6 comes with a variety of optional accessories including the Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard and Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation), which costs RM399 each and is a recommended purchase for a complete experience, a Xiaomi Pad 6 Cover that protects the device can also be purchased separately for RM149 and an official screen protector costs RM79.
