It’s the penultimate week of the year, folks, just one more to go. We delivered two detailed comparisons for you – the Exynos Galaxy S23 FE vs the Snapdragon one – which is better? The other is the battle of the full-scale tablets – the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 vs the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
ZTE’s nubia brand unveiled the all-out nubia Z60 Ultra. It has a 6.8-inch 120Hz display with an under-display selfie camera, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging, and IP68 water resistance for the first time in a nubia phone. However, the cameras get the most attention – a unique 35mm, 85mm, and 18mm set with phase-detect autofocus. The nubia Z60 Ultra will ship from December 29 in North America, Europe, the UK, and Mexico, starting at $599/€679/£679/Mex$ 12,499 for the 8/256GB model.
Xiaomi announced the global rollout of HyperOS – it will become available to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, 13 Pro, 13, 13T Pro, 13T, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12S, the Xiaomi Pad 6, and the Poco F5. The firmware will gradually reach users from Q1 of 2024.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series is coming in January and we now have a solid idea what to expect thanks to official-looking press renders and leaked promo materials from the upcoming Unpacked event. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera, as well as 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x camera modes – presumably, the 2x and 10x will be digitally zoomed from the 1x and 5x cameras, respectively. The Ultra will be made of titanium. The S24 has a 6.2-inch display, a 4,000mAh battery, and a 1x, 3x, and ultrawide camera system. The S24+ brings a 6.7-inch display and a 4,900mAh battery.
Sony is rumored to be working on a new Xperia Pro with a rotating camera ring – it will supposedly control zoom, aperture, and focus.
