As per park ranger Balaram Bishnoi, they tried to wake the tigress in the evening, but she did not move. Soon they discovered that she had lost her life. He said, “We found her lifeless.”

Ambika was one of the prime attractions of the park. The beautiful 10-year-old tigress was relocated to the park from Kanpur in 2016 along with a male tiger named Anthony. With Ambika’s untimely demise, Anthony, who is a little over ten years old, now roams alone in the park.
