Tamayo Perry, an American actor known for appearing in Pirates of the Caribbean, and who was married to Emilia Perry, is dead following a shark attack in Hawaii, below is his Wikipedia.
Perry was killed Sunday afternoon, around 13:00 local time in Hawaii while he was surfing.
He was attacked by a shark and unfortunately did not survive his injuries.

Tamayo Perry was an American actor and lifeguard who made his name as an actor in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Perry was born on the island of Oahu in Hawaii in 1975.
He began surfing at the age of 12 and borrowed surfboards because he had no sponsors.
Perry acted as a pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the franchise.
Aside from his role in POTC, he also had other television and film roles including Lost, Hawaii Five-0, Blue Crush and Charlie’s Angels sequel Full Throttle.

He was also a talented surfer who had been surfing for over a decade and was also a lifeguard.
Death
Tamayo Perry sadly died after a shark attack on the afternoon of Sunday, June 23rd, 2024.
He was surfing around Malaekahana Beach when the attack occurred.
Emergency services were called to the beach at around 13:00 local time.
Shayne Enright of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department confirmed in a press conference that authorities had responded to calls of a surfer being attacked around Mālaekahana Beach on Oahu’s North Shore just before 1 p.m. local time.
“As you can imagine, this is [an] extremely difficult time for all of us. I ask for your kindness and your patience as we all just try to get through this next hour into these next weeks and months,” Enright said.
Acting Honolulu Ocean Safety chief Kurt Lager said Perry was truly loved by all who knew him due to his absolutely open personality.
“Tamayo’s personality was infectious, and as much as people loved him, he loved everyone else more…Our condolences go out to Tamayo’s family,”
The World Surf League also released a statement: “We are deeply saddened to share that the surf community lost a beloved icon yesterday. A well-known surfer and lifeguard, Tamayo Perry, passed away after injuries from a shark attack that occurred on the East Side of Oahu.
“Tamayo was a Pipeline/Teahupo’o specialist, freesurfer, former competitor, and member of the WSL for many years. He became a lifeguard for the city and was a big part of the North Shore community,” the statement added.

The pair founded their business Oahu Surfing Experience in 2016.
