The chapter starts with a discussion between Ninomiya and Amatori about what would happen if Hatohara had invited Amatori to be her stompaway. Could he turn her down?
Ninomiya further explains that if she had searched for Hatohara, the Kageura squad would have leaped at the chance of capturing him. conversation with Ninomiya, telling him that he wishes to clear all doubts and head straight to the battle.
Later on, we see the Suwa squad discussing the special battle sim. They have won the previous battle sims, so they don’t seem to be concerned about the special ones, as they will keep doing what they have planned.
Then we get a flash from two days earlier, where we see senior staff discussing the new rules for rank wars. They begin with the most common one, which involves putting two squads against each other. This will promote teamwork with other squads.
The senior staff goes through all the suggestions about the new rules and how they will affect the new rank wars. The senior staff decided to use Trion soldiers, that are able to fight on their own.
Later, we see them discussing whether, if they want to create squads specializing in using Truon soldiers, they would need feedback from the defense mission squads.
Back to the present, we see the Suwa squad discussing the assignments when they get the assignment of creating a Trion Soldier Atlead, and they also have to use it in battle sims.
