The senior staff goes through all the suggestions about the new rules and how they will affect the new rank wars. The senior staff decided to use Trion soldiers, that are able to fight on their own.
Later, we see them discussing whether, if they want to create squads specializing in using Truon soldiers, they would need feedback from the defense mission squads.
Back to the present, we see the Suwa squad discussing the assignments when they get the assignment of creating a Trion Soldier Atlead, and they also have to use it in battle sims.
