Funding and trading
L3 trading will be live as of 10:00 AM UTC today, July 30, 2024.
To add $L3 to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.
Make sure to deposit your tokens using the networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.
L3 is tradeable on Kraken and Kraken Pro with the following parameters:

Note: Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).

Layer3 (L3) is a gamified hub where users earn rewards for completing quests related to crypto education. Achievements such as interacting with new protocols are immortalized as NFTs on the Layer 2 blockchain Base, which can be used to level up and earn ETH, USDC and other token rewards. L3 is a deflationary utility/governance token that can be staked to earn rewards and participate in decision-making.

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on Kraken’s blog and social media profiles.
