This game is taking realism to the next level. eSail, the highly appreciated sailing simulation game with a comprehensive learning program has launched a new Pro DLC. It includes the addition of key features to increase the depth of immersion and provide a more detailed boating experience.
eSail initially launched on Steam back in 2018 and has garnered 94% positive reviews ever since. The game is a fantastic way to learn and brush up on your sailing skills at home. Moreover, it provides an authentic yacht sailing experience with numerous tutorials, sailing, mooring and anchoring modes, charting, challenges, races, and more.
With the new Pro DLC, players will receive a 15-gallon refillable fuel tank rev counter and fuel gauge. This will encourage fuel economy in the game. It comes along with an advanced wind indicator as well that shows apparent and true wind. Hence, helping the eSailers optimize their sails to reach maximum speed.
There is a new mooring ‘Sandbox’ that enables sailors to practice their docking and mooring skills. Just like the usual Sandbox, players can modify the wind direction and the speed of it. All these new features are supported by new tutorials so don’t worry about it.
The developer has also added new capabilities to the autopilot system. They have enabled precise control and modification of the boat’s bearing and the angle to the wind. This will prove to be very useful in racing situations and in general sailing altogether.
