In the Canadiens’ last game, the team was trailing 0-3 at one point against the Red Wings. They rallied, but still lost in overtime.

Moments later, Juraj Slafkovsky made a fine breakthrough into the offensive zone.

And that eventual power play led to Sean Monahan’s second goal of the game.

Before the end of the period, however, Seattle closed the gap to two goals, outwitting Monty for the first time in the game.
Jared McCann scored his 12th goal of the season.
