If you’re a fan of saving a buck on fashion and beauty finds, it’s time to get going, considering the best stuff is starting to disappear. Unsurprisingly, this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale deals are home to solid markdowns on all the walking sandals, comfortable heels, and ballet flats you’ll want to wear everywhere. I won’t tell you what to do, but I’ll at least suggest that you snap up those Ugg slippers and Birkenstock slides while they’re somehow still on sale. I’m also impressed by Nordy’s on-sale trend edit, which includes slingback kitten heels, silver glove flats, and Mary Jane ballets from Mansur Gavriel, a brand frequently repped by Katie Holmes and Taylor Swift. And with fall nipping at our heels, you can’t go wrong with chic knee-high boots for when the weather turns.

I’ll be honest: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has left me wishing for more exciting men’s deals in the past. This year, though, the retailer understood the assignment.
